Having been a working mother myself I realize how difficult it is for parents/guardians to find good quality child care. I take my profession as a child care provider very seriously.
The children who are enrolled in my care are treated like my own.
I have the love, knowledge, experience, energy, patience, and qualities needed to provide a warm, caring, nurturing, loving, safe, stable environment in which children can explore, grow, play, learn and have fun. Parents/Guardians whose children are in my care have a peace of mind while they are away at work knowing their children are being cared for and safe.
"What Is Little Sprout's?"
- Little Sprouts Family Home Child Care takes the child gently through the all important stages of self-understanding, self-mystery, self-growth and never forgetting what is like to BE a Child.
- Little Sprouts is feelings, sharing, playing and learning.
- Little Sprouts is experience, wonder, challenge and accomplishment. A child lives with the expectation of the promise of life, his birthright...for the chance to be little and the right to grow...for the discovery of life and the freedom and beauty of childhood.
- Little Sprouts is in a warm, cozy, safe family-like environment.
I feel it is important for the children, to have the security of a provider who is a constant in their lives and not subject them to sudden changes while attending child care. Children thrive with security and I provide a daily schedule to promote structure with learning and play.

At Little Sprouts, a child flowers because there is acceptance for individual differences and encouragement from me, who is there at the child's side when needed. Expression for the child's inner need, whether that be a simple need for affection or the larger need for responsibility, self image, achievement. Little Sprouts means a glimpse of a secure childhood; one where a child has hope, success, outlet and joy. It's a childhood that includes fun and fancy, learning and growing, thought and wonder. It is the magic time, full of possibilities. It is a child's pride in his own ability to do and to dream, and to be in a world unfolding to his senses. It is a spirit of love and acceptance, discipline and caring, questions and answers. Above all, childhood brings the luxury of hope; the enrichment of today; the promise of tomorrow. It releases the child to be what he can be.
It is a time for heroes and fairies, and awe at the grandeur and the order of the world. A time for small attempts and step-by-step achievements. It is a time for order as well as flights of the imagination. It is a time for believing. It is a time for finding friendships, for drawing the world inward and giving the fruits of that discovery outward, for learning how to think without forgetting how to dream.
Little Sprouts provides children with a positive learning environment. “A world at their fingertips,” where they can explore independently and enjoy, see, hear, feel, touch, and move.
Little Sprouts offers a place where a child is encouraged to explore their surroundings through discovery and play. The child is rewarded through positive self esteem and self discovery. The children who are enrolled in “Little Sprout’s” are exposed to music, art, language, math, science, and allowed to learn through play.
Typical examples would be: counting, sorting, exploring colors, listening and singing to music and sounds. At “Little Sprout’s” we focus on the pure enjoyment and textures of everyday life. I take genuine pleasure in each day and expose the children to teachable moments and follow the children’s lead to where ever that moment may take us.
I provide challenges to the children that are challenging but achievable, and encourage the children to work to succeed.
This is childhood...This is Little Sprouts...This is the work in which I share so vitally with the parent/guardian, it is the proving ground for the child's tomorrow.
Little Sprouts is linked closely with the home and family life through parent/guardian participation. It is pride in family life and in sharing that family life and its potential joys. It is the small world of the child expanding into an image of family life, the community life, and the world-at-large; with the parent/guardian view expanding simultaneously, aided by me.
Little Sprouts is the "home away from home" to the little child where to try is the important aim and to fail is merely an incentive to try again, with no sense of lasting failure.
I hope that you now know what Little Sprouts is (((Smile)))

but with a small number of children and the quality of care and consistency
that I offer, our environment is an ideal experience for growth and learning.

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities.
